At the Brazos Valley Small Business Development Center we offer you affordable workshops and seminars on a wide variety of business topics including marketing, finance, management, computers, taxes and executive skills enhancement.  We can help you broaden your business knowledge, whether you are a new entrepreneur or have been in business for years. 

The objective for our training is to assist businesses in solving the multitude of problems they face on a daily basis as well as help them grow their businesses in both sales and profits.  The BV SBDC's objective is also to help future entrepreneurs learn as much as possible about basic business principles before they get started in business.

FAQ's

Q. Can I pay at the door?
A. Our classes fill up fast so we encourage you to register online. Plus, you save money on each class by registering online.

Q. Do I have to pay for parking?
A. Our parking is FREE and conveniently located in front of our building.

Q. Where are the events held?
A. All events, unless noted, are held at 4001 E. 29th, Bryan, TX 77802

Q. I tried to register but I got a message saying registrations are no longer being accepted.
A. This means the class has reached its capacity. You can call us at 979-260-5222 and ask to be put on a waiting list. If space opens, we will call you.

Q. Can I bring my child if I promise he/she will be quiet?
A. Unfortunately, children under 16 are not permitted in any of our classes.

Q. Can I get a refund if I can't attend the class?
A. If you contact us in writing at least five business days before the event, we will refund your registration fee.

Q. If I can't attend, may I send someone in my place?
A. Yes, as long as you call us in advance to let us know.

Q. Does the BVSBDC ever cancel classes?
A. Occasionally we do have to cancel classes to low enrollment, weather, power outages, etc. We will contact you using the phone number and email address you provide in the registration process. We make every effort to contact you 24 hours in advance. You will be given your choice of a refund or credit.
